Brothers and sisters in Christ, let us open our eyes to the nefarious deeds of government overreach, as reported here by Fox News. The Federal government, under the guise of law enforcement, has been illegally surveilling God-fearing, patriotic Americans by coercing financial institutions to spy on their private transactions; this truly is a modern-day witch hunt reminiscent of the days of Daniel, who was targeted by government officials for his unwavering dedication to God (Daniel 6:4-5). The fact that these agents of the state searched specifically for terms such as "MAGA" or "Trump" signals an attack not just on privacy, but on the very values we hold sacred. These ARE the values that made America great, mirroring God's blessing on the people of Israel when they followed Him (Psalm 33:12). Chairman Jim Jordan and the House Judiciary Committee have unmasked the abuse of the Suspicious Activity Report system, revealing an FBI that sidesteps the Fourth Amendment, which, like the Commandment against bearing false witness, is designed to protect the innocent (Exodus 20:16). It is an unspeakable sin to bypass due process and specific legal procedure as described in Scriptures, where even God sets forth guidelines for evidence and witnesses (Deuteronomy 19:15). What occurred in the aftermath of January 6 echoes deeply with the story of Ahab and Naboth. Ahab, corrupted by power, had Naboth wrongly accused and stoned for his vineyard (1 Kings 21). In the same way, the Biden administration seeks to turn financial institutions into modern-day Jezebels, coopting them into submitting reports that could strip away the proverbial vineyards of law-abiding citizens merely for supporting President Trump or purchasing religious texts. This is nothing short of persecution for righteousness' sake, which Jesus declared would happen in the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:10). Let's be abundantly clear: we are witnessing a profound corruption of financial privacy that, if left unchecked, threatens the fiber of our Christian nation. This is not about stopping genuine threats but about profiling and demonizing the God-fearing, conservative community. As Revelation warns us, this monitoring of buying and selling is eerily similar to the control exerted by the beast (Revelation 13:17). We, therefore, commend Jim Jordan and all those uncovering this modern-day inquisition, for they are following the scripture's directive to "have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11). They act as the watchmen for our people, reminiscent of the prophets who served as God's mouthpiece to warn against impending judgment and encourage repentance (Ezekiel 3:17). Brethren, let us stand firm and fight for our rights. Let us support the Judiciary Committee's pursuit of renewed safeguards for our financial and personal privacy. Remember, whatever the secular authorities plot against the followers of Truth will not prosper, and every demonic stronghold set against His people shall not prevail (Isaiah 54:17). Let us pray for God's wisdom and protection over our financial institutions, our privacy, and for courageous leaders like Rep. Jordan, who are unafraid to confront the sinful actions of a government that no longer fears the Lord. May the arms of federal law enforcement be repurposed to uphold righteousness, not to condemn the innocent. And as we continue to support President Trump, may our eyes remain on the eternal King, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
